Ooredoo Maldives became the latest Ooredoo company to complete a major network enhancement programme this month, with the launch of Ooredoo Supernet across the Republic.

The company has introduced an exciting new fixed broadband service for customers to celebrate the launch, including a range of unlimited packages with extraordinary speeds of up to 1 Gbps in an exciting first for the nation.

As an added bonus, customers also receive a free landline connection, with a special 400 number, as part of the package.

Ooredoo Maldives has partnered with Microsoft for an impressive introductory offer where new customers receive Office 365 products for free. In addition, customers get an e-gift card from G2A, the popular online video game distribution marketplace, and all customers with an existing Medianet connection can view Medianet’s Open TV for free via their connection on the Ooredoo Supernet.

Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani, Group CEO of Ooredoo, said: “Across our global footprint, Ooredoo operations continue to upgrade and enhance their networks to support our customers’ digital lifestyles. We’re pleased that our customers in the Maldives can now enjoy the incredible speed and performance of the Ooredoo Supernet.”

Ooredoo Maldives is providing ten unlimited plans, customised to suit the varying needs of customers, with speeds from 2 Mbps to 1 Gbps.

To encourage customers to enjoy high speed broadband internet at affordable prices, Ooredoo Maldives has waived all setup fees, security deposits, advanced monthly rentals and service reconnection fees.
